Statement of Faith: Jesus is Christ

Our Mission: To love God (Matthew 22:34-38); To love our neighbors (Matthew 22:39); and to make Christian disciples (Matthew 28:19-20)

Who we are: We are Christians who are working together to live Oneness in the Church of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

AN INVITATION:  If you are not sure you have ever experienced the awesome love God has for you, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to accept that love today.  The Bible tells us that God’s love is a gift and that it is freely given to each of us.  All we have to do is accept it.  It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done with your life.  And who would not want to receive such a wonderful gift?

Now you might ask, “What do I have to do to accept this gift of love?”  Well, it’s quite simple, really.  All you have to do is say ‘yes’ to Christ right now.  Please pray these words with us:

Dear God, I am asking you now for that perfect gift of love you have for me.  I ask you to forgive my sins.  I believe that Jesus Christ is your son who came to save the world from sin.  I believe that he died for me and was raised from the dead.  I surrender my heart and my life to you, just as your son Jesus Christ surrendered his life for me.  Thank you so much for your gift of love.  In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

If you have prayed that prayer of salvation please let us know right away.  We would like to help you take the next step in your new life as a fellow Christian.  Contact us at:  jamesdsanderson(at)gmail(dot)com

SIMPLE:  Church is you, following Christ and attempting to live the way of Christ – to ‘be’ Christ in the world.  Church is not a building that you go to on Sunday morning.  Simple, really.  Church doesn’t come with a certain kind of music you listen to or a certain way that you worship God, or a place with a cross on top.  The Church is incarnational (living Christ-like lives), and missional (living your Christ-likeness in the real world).  The example is Christ himself.  He left heaven to live his (earthly) life among us in the real world.  One Church is everyone in our community who believes Jesus is Christ.  Simple, really.
